Los MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) 2019 se entregarán este lunes 26 de agosto en una gala en vivo que promete dar que hablar, y las estrellas Taylor Swift y Ariana Grande encabezan la lista de postulantes con 10 nominaciones cada una gracias a sus discos LOVER y Thank U, Next, respectivamente

Los MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) 2019 se entregarán este lunes 26 de agosto en una gala en vivo que promete dar que hablar, y las estrellas Taylor Swift y Ariana Grande encabezan la lista de postulantes con 10 nominaciones cada una gracias a sus discos LOVER y Thank U, Next, respectivamente.

El himno de Swift al orgullo gay You need to calm down y el éxito de Grande sobre sus rupturas amorosas Thank u, next se medirán por el máximo premio MTV con Bad guy de Billie Eilish, Old town road de Lil Nas X y Billy Ray Cyrus, A lot de 21 Savage y J. Cole y Sucker de los Jonas Brothers.

Eilish, de 17 años, obtuvo nueve candidaturas que incluyen artista del año. Otros nominados en este rubro son Grande, Cardi B, Shawn Mendes, Halsey y los Jonas Brothers.

Lil Nas X, cuyo Old town road acaba de empatar el récord de 26 semanas en el primer lugar de la lista Hot 100 de Billboard, consiguió ocho menciones.

Los MTV VMAs 2019 se entregarán esta noche en el Prudential Center en Newark, Nueva Jersey. El actor y comediante Sebastian Maniscalco será el maestro de ceremonias.
